Contractor access
The Track web timesheet lets contractors enter time against the BGM projects they are assigned to, from any browser. No BGM email account is needed.
Getting set up
- Ask your BGM project lead to enable web timesheet access. They create (or update) your Track user, grant timesheet permission, and assign the projects you can log time against.
- Watch for an invitation email from BGM. It comes from Microsoft on BGM's behalf and lets you create a sign-in for the address BGM has on file. Use the same email address BGM knows you by.
- Return here and choose Contractor Login. The first time you sign in, Track matches your account to your Track user automatically by email.
Signed in but told your account isn't enabled?
That means your Microsoft account isn't linked to a Track user with timesheet permission yet. Two common causes:
- Different email. If BGM set you up under another address, sign out and sign in with that one.
- Not enabled yet. Press Request access on that page. Your request goes to the BGM Track administrators, who link your account and assign your projects. You'll hear from your BGM contact once it's done - there is no need to submit the request more than once.
Signed in but no customers or projects listed?
Your account is enabled but no projects have been assigned to you yet. Ask your BGM project lead to add the projects you are working on; they appear the next time you open the timesheet.
What you will and won't see
- Only the projects assigned to you, and the customers those projects belong to.
- Only your own time. Months that BGM has closed for billing are read-only; the page tells you who locked them and when.
- No other users, rates, or company data.
